The patient is pre-admitted to the surgical unit, mentally and psychologically prepared for the operation.

Urgent (unscheduled, emergency) surgeries: they are performed immediately to prevent life-threatening injuries, bleeding, and disease complications.

Having previously made an appointment for a consultation and coming for an examination, the doctor will first of all listen to your complaints, ask you in detail about the symptoms: how long ago they began, whether there is discomfort, what you think could have provoked them, whether there are chronic diseases… He will conduct an examination (visual, palpation) that will help determine the severity and duration of the disease, and, if necessary, select an additional diagnostic method (ultrasound, BAL, etc.).
