After birth, the impact of external factors and infectious diseases can affect the sensitive and still unprotected body of our little ones. And since they cannot understand and explain what is bothering them, some diseases may not even manifest themselves in their early stages. Therefore, starting from the first year of life, the diagnostic and treatment center “Med-Atlant” offers one of the simplest, painless methods – ultrasound of a child in Ivano-Frankivsk. This procedure is performed on expert-class machines, is not harmful, does not require any preparation, and helps detect pathologies and developmental anomalies of the organs.
Echocardiography is one of the diagnostic methods in cardiology. Starting from childhood, it is necessary to undergo diagnostics, which will allow us to evaluate the general condition of the baby’s heart, detect additional chords, possible pathological changes in the heart chambers, valves, and pericardium.
Neurosonography is an examination of the brain through the open large fontanelle of a child’s head. At present, it is a widely used and safe method for diagnosing the brain and surrounding structures. This diagnostic method allows timely detection of pathological changes in tissues (swelling), cavities (ventriculomegaly/hydrocephalus), membranes, and the identification of new formations.
Ultrasound of the hip joints – one of the congenital problems is hip dislocation, as the skeleton of a newborn is not yet fully formed. Ultrasound diagnostics of a child will detect dysplasia, subluxations, and dislocations even at the initial stages and provide an opportunity to correct the detected problem using painless, simple treatment methods.
